ArchitectureArchitectural landscape of the factory settlementThe town was founded in 1759 as a settlement by the A. S. Stroganov iron manufacturing factory. An old architectural landscape remains in the town to present day including pond in the town centre, the factory ground, the Mikhail Archangel Temple and the former factory administration building.

Death TowerAdministration building were constructed in 1949-1953 in «Stalin monument» style under the project of the architect of Pareleshin M. A. The corner tower with spire ending has something in common with a bell tower of the Cathedral on the bank of the Kama river. The building was initially planned as the main building of the Perm university (there was a the post-war years project to transfer the High School to the city centre).

Dubinins's EstateThe estate on the high bank of the Sylva, built in 1867, is situated in the historical centre of the city. This is an example of a large mansion of eclecticism, the city landmark. Together with Tikhvinskaya Church it is an integrated complex.

Golitsyns’s EstateThe Golitsyns’s Estate was built in 1815-1818. This is a spacious two-storeyed Classicism mansion with a service first storey and a circular suite of rooms. The façade opens on the Kama. The mansion is an important part of the beautiful architecture ensemble of Usolye.

Gribushin’s HouseThe house of the Kungur merchant, «tea king» Gribushin S. M. was built in the beginning of the 20th century (1907) in the modernist style. The unique aspect of this «house with angels» or «house with little men» is known perhaps to every Perm citizen. It has one more, literary name «House with the figures», whereat develops the drama of Yuriy Zhivago and Lara, the famous heroes of Boris Pastertak.

House with the atticA house was built in the middle of the 19th century. It belonged to A. E. Teploukhov and to his son F. A. Teploukhov, the main forestry officers of the Stroganovs Perm estates. Besides they studied and gathered archeology and ethnography materials of Perm region and published their research works.
Ilyinskiy settlement
Merchant yardIt is the unique typical sample of Russian merchant yards' architecture remaining in Prikamie. It has a great historical and architectural value. It plays the town-forming role in the town centre space. The building was designed by the architect R. I. Karvovskiy. The сonstruction was carried out under the direction of the town heads A. G. Pilikin and M. I. Gribushin and under the supervision of the town architect N. A. Voskresenskiy.
Kungur town
Meshkov’s MansionOne of the most beautiful buildings of the city distinguished by its stone lace on the bank of the Kama river is the house of the steam navigator Meshkov. Perm Krai museumis located in this building today. It was erected in 1820s, presumably according to the project of I. I. Sviyasev and represents an excellent example of late classicism.

Noble AssemblyBuilding date is 1832-1837. It is an excellent monument of Russian classicism civil architecture of the first third of the 19th century. Since there were no landed gentry in the Perm province, the second class was represented by the local officials and local garrison officers. Therefore the landed gentry club was named the Noble Assembly.
