Perm cuisine combines national cooking traditions of Perm Krai inhabitants – Komi-Permyaks, Udmurts and other Finno-Ugric nations and those of later settlers such as Tatars and Russians.
Perm Cuisine influenced greatly on Russian cooking. For instance, only a few people know that one of the most famous and favourite dishes “pelmeni” comes from Perm area.
