Stage-Molot is the youngest theater in Perm. It was opened in December 2009. This stage is one of the most unusual in Perm region. It is not only spectacles that take place on it, but various festivals, trainings, film shows and poetry nights.
Art director of “Stage-Molot” Eduard Boyakov is a dramatic, musical and film producer, a director, a creator of the major drama festival “Golden Mask” as well as a founder and art director of the International festival of the Theater “Noon Recess” for children and art director of the Moscow “Practice” theater.
The troupe made of professional actors and amateurs stages performances of own composition, comedies, musicals, and also performances of Shakespeare and Chekhov's plays. The theatre repeatedly became the winner of the Perm, Russian and international competitions.
Yevgeny Panfilov Ballet was created as a unique theatre association, which consists of three choreographic companies Yevgeny Panfilov Ballet, Yevgeny Panfilov Ballet of the Fat (1994), Yevgeny Panfilov Fight Club (2001), with different dance aesthetics united by the a single author’s style. Yevgeny Panfilov became laureate of different contests and won prestigious professional awards. In 1979 he created the theatre of plastic dance “Impulse”, and in 1987 he reorganized his company into the first Russian private ballet theatre Yevgeny Panfilov Ballet. In 2000 the private theatre became a state theatre and the choreographer’s name was included in its official name as a sign of recognition of the merit and achievements in the field of the development of modern choreography in Russia. Among the productions of the ballet are: Eight Russian Songs, Romeo and Juliet, BlokAda, etc. Yevgeny Panfilov Ballet received the Golden Mask Award for the first time for the production of Yevgeny Panfilov Ballet of the Fat - Women. The Year 1945. In 2006 The Cage for Parrots received an award in the nomination “Contemporary Dance”.
The “Benefit performance" theatre programs do not repeat Opera theatre and philharmonic society classical repertoire. Russian romances, arias from operas and operettas, songs from films and musicals sound in execution of known Perm performers.
It is one of the oldest theatres in the region. It’s not only the town cultural centre, but also of all the Upper Kama lands. In the theatre repertoire you will find performances for the most exacting taste. These are comedies and tragedies, musicals and dramas and many colorful, musical fairy tales. There was created a series of musical-drama compositions «to help schoolchildren» under the school literature program: «Silver age poets. Poet’s Fate », «Well, Pushkin!», «Both life, and tears, and love...» (L.Tolstoy "War and peace", A.Pushkin "Evgenie Onegin"). There are spectators’ conferences, meetings with the actors, excursions along the backstage carried out by the theatre.
There are modern Russian and foreign plays presented in the studio-theatre repertoire. The studio-theatre is the winner of the All-Russia and international theatrical festivals and competitions.
The theatre has opened in 2004 but has already been nominated as a part of the Perm opera and ballet theatre of P.I.Chajkovsky for the national award «Gold mask» 2007г. The Massne Opera «Cinderella» (a doll interlude), participated in festival of the national award "Harlequin" and in the international festival «КUKART VIII»(St.-Petersburg). Theatre performances can be shown both to children, and to the mixed adult and children audience. Theatre repertoire consists of musically – puppet performances, literary – drama performances based on Russian classics and modern prose writers and poets’ works.
It is the leading children's theatre of a city. The repertoire is based on the Russian classics as well as the performances devoted to the Perm territory. It is the participant and winner of theatrical festivals «Theatrical ladushki» and the All-Russia theatrical festival in Glazov.
